St George’s Hall

For couples seeking a truly unique and atmospheric wedding venue, St Luke’s Bombed Out Church offers an unforgettable setting. This iconic Liverpool landmark, partially destroyed during World War II, has been transformed into a striking open-air venue that combines history with contemporary charm.
The ruins of St Luke’s, a grade ii listed building, with it’s exposed brick walls and gothic arches, create a dramatic and romantic backdrop for your ceremony and reception. The venue can accommodate up to 250 guests, making it suitable for both large and intimate celebrations. The open ceremony area can be covered to protect you and your guests from the elements, meaning your day won’t be ruined by the typical british weather. For a more intimate ceremony, you can hire the Tower which seats 8 guests.
The wedding breakfast can be catered by one of St Luke’s recommend suppliers or an external caterer can be discussed with the team. For couples portraits you can achieve some really beautiful shots on the grounds of the venue, utilising the gothic style environment. Alternatively you can make a short walk to Bold Street where you can achieve street style photography that encapsulates the city of Liverpool.
