Tony Hassall Films specialises in curating personal, emotional and art felt films. Château de la Mothe is a stunning 13th century castle renovated in the 17th and 18th centuries. Set in the picturesque region of Dordogne, this venue is well secluded and is perfect for a private wedding. From the moment you set eyes on this venue, you are captivated by its quintessential French classicism.
Château de la Mothe has around 15 acres with two converted agricultural buildings which hold your reception and guest accommodation. Hosting around 40 guests offering authentic decor with a homely feel.
Capturing a wedding at Château de la Mothe is a videographers dream. With its unique architecture there is an abundance of opportunities for creative framing. The sunset pierces through the trees in the evening creating the most flattering light for the couples portraits. My aim is to seek for the best light, composition to capture your story in the most authentic way possible.

This could be a 5 minute highlight film or a 15 minute feature film with separate videos of the toasts and the ceremony to extend your wedding experience. Dependent on your requirements this can vary, but If it’s a single day wedding I will be there 3 hours before the ceremony up until 1 hour after the first dance. Multi day weddings should contact me to discuss further.

My style is discreet and documentary which means I take a fly on the wall approach. In certain scenarios I will aid posing or composition but only in moments where appropriate such as the couples portraits or bridal portraits.

Your film will be available within 2-3 months after your wedding day. I do also offer expedited edits to receive your films within 2 weeks of your wedding.
