“How Emma and Tim Met”

Emma and Tim met as most modern couples do on a dating website. They planned their wedding at the amazing Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire. They went with a Scottish theme for the wedding with a bagpiper, Scottish whiskey and various pictures of highland cows which Emma is obsessed with. The wedding day was met with the most perfect weather which led to the most amazing golden hour over the fields of Cheshire. It was a pleasure to be hired as a Sandhole Oak Barn wedding videographer.

As mentioned they met on a dating website called match.com in 2016 and they knew they were the perfect match. Their first date was in the Red Lion, Tarvin, where Tim made Emma chuckle with his dad jokes. They both left the date knowing they had found something special. The first time they said ‘I love you’ was before a party where Tim took Emma for a walk. They sat near a river and Tim expressed his love for Emma.

Tim planned the engagement to happen in 2020 on a beach in isle of Isla, serenaded by a bagpiper, but sadly was cancelled due to Covid. Tim then booked a trip to the Yorkshire coast with their kids. Tim was set to go to the beach with everyone, up to the top of the cliffs where he would propose. This was changed because Sam, Emma’s son, jumped into the sea fully clothed, and got soaking wet. They had to go back and Tims nerves would have to stay for one more day. The next day they got to the top of the cliff where Tim handed Emma a book with all the reasons he loved her. Emma cried whilst reading the book and on the last page it had the question ‘Will you marry me?’. Tim was then down on one knee whilst receiving a reply of ‘yes!’ from Emma.

For Emma’s wedding, she wore a dress from Along Came Eve Bridal, and make up was done by the amazing Faces By Gemm. This was the look Emma wanted and was achieved flawlessly as you can see in the videos and images in this post. Tim donned a suit from Peter Posh Suit and the level of detail was second to none.

“I still cry even though I’ve already watched the films 100 times over!!”

Emma was met in the morning by a video that Tim had made for her. It was a video explaining how excited he is and also to explain the gifts he had gotten her. Emma walked down the aisle to ‘I get to love you’ by Ruella. The ceremony was conducted by JW Cermonies which told their love story in a more personal way than a registrar. There was one reading titled ‘Love is Like Owning a Dog’. First of all, it’s a big responsibility, especially in a city like New York. So think long and hard before deciding on love. On the other hand, love gives you a sense of security: when you’re walking down the street late at night and you have a leash on love ain’t no one going to mess with you. Because crooks and muggers think love is unpredictable. Who knows what love could do in its own defense? On cold winter nights, love is warm. It lies between you and lives and breathes
and makes funny noises…
The poem was written by Taylor Mali and the full poem is definitely worth a read.

Cocktail hour was met with the sounds from a band called The Pedal Tones. Their acoustic renditions of popular songs really set a beautiful atmosphere through the hour. The venue was dressed perfectly for how Emma and Tim had envisioned their wedding; Flossies weddings set the table for the wedding breakfast in which Top Table Catering gave the wedding party a wedding breakfast they would not forget.

These are Emma’s words on ‘the best Cheshire wedding videographer’: “Tony was the ultimate professional from the first contact we made to the final delivery of our beautiful, stunning, creative wedding films. He put me at ease straight away and we knew within the first phone call we had to book him. Even in the run up to the day he was mega supportive, chilled and reassuring. On the day I hardly noticed Tony or the second shooter there but wow what moments he has captured. I still cry even though I’ve already watched the films 100 times over!! Such precious memories and I am so glad we booked a videographer as well as photographer as hearing the speeches again is so so special! Tony, you are a superstar, we loved having you with us on our wedding day and will recommend you until the highland coo’s come home! Thank you”
